We're glad to be back home after a great two weeks on the road. Our first big trip was to familiar ground - we got to see dear friends and family in Tulsa and Fayetteville! A few highlights from the trip...
There was a bit of a surprise stop in Pryor, Oklahoma. Thankfully for my amazing Uncle Mark and his sweet connections at the Pryor Industrial Park, we were back on the road in no time. And bonus, we got a fabulous driving tour of the booming metropolis of Pryor! It may be a small spot on the map, but there are fine folk there. Mark's mechanic loaned us his Ford truck to take to Fayetteville while our little Corolla was in the shop.
A lot of time and energy in Fayetteville was spent acclimating Aaron to his future home. Isn't he dreamy here, calling the Hogs?? [Don't worry, Cowboy fans, notice the cap he wore all week!]
Our favorite evening was spent celebrating Megan's sweet grandmother. Happy 81st birthday, Grandma Donna!
And in between meeting with family and friends, we had a great time hanging out with staff and students involved with the ministry at Arkansas. The first week of the school year is our all-time fav, and we loved being a small part of the back-to-school festivities.
